Why does a salad cost more than a big mac?

    This very topic is brought up in the movie Food Inc. A low income Mom with 3 kids can feed her whole family at McDonalds for $10, yet if she shops on the “perimeter of the supermarket” she’ll come out with some broccoli and a few greens.
    Definetely something that needs to be fixed!
